Love for Derrick
I will treasure the fact that I have spent most of my life with such a wonderful man, we were together for 54 years. Our love for each other has been, and is, very strong. Thankfully, Derrick was able to die at home with his family all around him, surrounding him with love. He will be in our hearts and thoughts forever. I am heartbroken, but Derrick would want me to mend and would tell me to be positive. This is what I must do and I will hold on to the memories we experienced together.

The French experience
We would like to share our fondest memories of Derrick. La Teule was a ruin in the French countryside, which was transformed into a beautiful house and home. With the lovely Jenny by his side they created something that will give pleasure for many years to come. No stone was left unturned and during this time Derrick discovered his true passion, stone masonry. He had a natural talent, the house was lovingly restored and today it stands as a beautiful reminder of all the wonderful times.
