Mervyn Morley

He was quite a character, always funny, cheery, man who loved to talk to anyone. He loved kids but he lost his baby boy soon after birth. He'd talk to all the kids he'd come across on his street cleaning job. Everyone loved him, no matter where we went on holidays someone knew him or knew his accent. He'd been in the army in Japan, had some great stories to tell. Then met his wife Joyce who he sadly lost 10 years ago. It didn't alter his character though, he was always upbeat no matter what.
