Steve and I loved being outdoors in the countryside and exploring the World, sometimes with our family and friends but after retirement long haul holidays on our own. Steve always challenged me to get out of my comfort zone with whitewater rafting, jet boating, zip lining and walking on glaciers but he always looked after me. I will never forget these wonderful experiences we shared.

Steve and I met in September 1970 at teacher training college in Sunderland, a place neither of us had planned to go. We married in August 1974 after Steve completed his B. Ed. degree and set up home back in Yorkshire. For 47 years we had a wonderful life together, bringing up our family and exploring the World together.
